Ataraxia is a Greek term, characterized by ongoing freedom from distress and worry. "Ataraxia is an untroubled and tranquil condition of the soul"
The term was used to describe the ideal mental state for soldiers entering battle.
1. A state of freedom from emotional disturbance and anxiety; tranquility
2. A state that comes when the mind is at ease.
So please take a seat and ease your mind

Ataraxia is lucky enough to have built an incredibly large clientele base over our years in business. And with the absence of myself in salon the past few months, there is a lot of pressure on the girls from myself to keep the salon standard above expectations.

I have implemented a few procedures and policy’s to keep the salon running as smooth as possible in my absence.

Rebook
Our stylist's are currently tending to 100's of regular and new clientele they can only do so much. Late night appointments and saturdays are booked in advance and always have been. Your stylist can advise you an appropriate time to revisit the salon and when to rebook before you leave. Doing so will assure you secure your best suited appointment time.

Cancellation's/ No shows
We as a salon are incredibly understanding when it comes to your busy lifestyle. However the girls are working extra hours and organizing their lives around you, it is not appreciated when you do not show up to your appointment or respond to your stylist when they are trying to confirm your where abouts.
Failure to cancel your pre booked appointment without the standard 24hr notice will incur a 30% cancellation fee. If you rebook within 7 days of your cancelled appointment, your 30% fee will be deducted from your account.
All Late Night and Saturday appointment cancellations require 72hr’s notice or you will be charged a 30% fee, regardless of re booking. The 72hr’s must be within business hours you can not cancel a Tuesday late night appointment on Saturday after 12 and avoid a fee.

We understand cancellations can not be helped in some circumstances and each circumstance will be dealt with accordingly.

Timing
Please forgive us if we are running a little behind schedule, it is simply because we are busy caring for our clients.
Due to COVID-19 we have implemented extra disinfecting procedures that take extra time to carry out in between clients, we ask you to please understand this as we are doing so for safety and piece of mind for our stylist and our clients.

Monday - 8:30- 4pm
Tuesday - 8:30 till late
Wednesday - 8:30 till late
Thursday - 8:30 till late
Friday - 8:30 till 6pm
Saturday - 7am till 12pm
Sunday - CLOSED

Our Salon Manager Lauren Pender works Tuesday through to Friday and Saturdays by appointment. Lauren is very approachable and ready to help each and everyone of you with your questions and concerns

Trust in these girls like I do. They are incredibly passionate, talented and knowledgeable women! I would not have given them such responsibilities if I didn't think that they were upto the task. Keep in mind every stylist is different, if you don't experience difference you never truly know when you have found the right stylist.
